The BAxSIC (British Axial Spondyloarthritis Inception Cohort) study is now open for recruitment.

BAxSIC was launched under the auspices of BRITSpA and in collaboration with the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society (NASS) with the aim to provide real-world data to evaluate the impact of delay in diagnosis (from symptom onset to diagnosis) on axial Spondyloarthritis in the UK.

The study is a virtual, prospective cohort, enrolling patients attending rheumatology clinics in the UK who are newly-diagnosed with axial Spondyloarthritis.
