The British Society for Rheumatology guideline for the treatment of axial spondyloarthritis (including ankylosing spondylitis) with biologics was published in 2016 and many new treatments have since become available. The guideline working group have begun updating the guideline which will focus on how and when to use high-cost drugs. The scope has now been published which lays out the plans for this vital update.
